Years ago we slung in at Everett at a local marine business. I forget the name. The fellow who slung my boat said the marina was being "remodeled" and they wouldn't be able to sling in for a year or so. Is there a public sling at the Everett marina, or is there a business that will sling in. I don't want a Travel lift because they generally cost alot more than a rail sling. Thanks for info.

Yes there is. You can go to Bayside marine. They have a new sling next to the 10th st boat launch. Not sure what they cost. I think I remember it being about $150 for launch and retrieval. I thought that was way too high.

Port of Everett has a Travelift that is just outside of Harbor Marine. Laurie 425-388-0678 says it's $179.38 round trip.
Bayside has the new Forklift but he says they're about $200. I wonder if Dagmars would let you (for a fee) drop your boat in there and leave the trailer while you are here. On an out going tide there should only be freshwater at that point in the river. If not there is a Boat lauch further up the river (Langus Riverfront Park)that you can launch at. I would just hesitate to leave the truck there. You could run the trailer back to Everett for the parking though.

I contacted Bayside Marine in Everett. Roundtrip sling for my boat is $160.00. Edmond's roundtrip sling is $24.00. We'll sling in at Edmonds for our July 4 trip to Poulsbo, Pt Townsend and John Wayne.

I didn't know you were heading out that way. Edmond's is a much better place to drop for that reason and the sling is easily accessible. Not to mention the price.

You can also launch at Dagmars (freshwater) and they will allow trailer / vehicle storage there too. I was just talking to the office the other day about that as a couple of trailers were launching. I forget the rate, but it's cheap.
