Wow..what a weekend.....met up with puget mike on friday and off we go!! :D ..the water started out pretty nice and we made it all the way thru deception pass before the water got snotty....I made the mistake of telling PM that I was following him  ...we went to cattleman's pass and had just passed this bay by about 10 minutes when all of a sudden ch16 becomes a chatter box about a plane going down...I couldn't figure out where it was at the time but evidently we weren't far away....
afterwards we had one of the best 4 day weekend in a long time...good food and seeing old members....met some new folks and finally got to meet ken/ lori and loren and his family...gotta say that danika is a cutie!!!....
the way back was fun all the way to everett marina....I'll post some pic's when mike makes a sub cat. of the 4th weekend......
the fireworks was really good and we had a stereo show if you stood up on our boat deck and watched the hi shots at lopez..... Great times and alot of laughs .....Great meeting you guys and seeing the likes of Harry, Doug/lea and Spud and his wife......hope we can all do this again sometime!!!! :argh arrr

It was a REALLY good time and it was great seeing some new faces and finally getting to put some faces on old names. Great seeing some of the old crowd as well (Tally, Puget Mike, Chef Harry, Jim) ... its been a long time. I hope you guys are here more often now.

I added a gallery category for those of you who took pictures and it'd be great if you'ld like to share.

Great seeing you all again. Maybe another time I'll have a boat :)

Wished I could have made it, we had to finally make decision and headed down to Liberty bay early so we could get a dock space rather then anchor. Had my off spring and grandkiddy showing up along with Boyfriend of off spring. Thought it would be allot easier for everybody to be on the docks. It was. Those dip nets do wonders for keeping grandkids busy.

You should've come. They had tons of space and several folks showed up without reservations and got right in. Great time. I'msure you'll see some pics soon. I saw a few cameras out.

It was a lot of fun. Actually it was pretty nice not having the boat there. Doing the hotel thing was anice change.

Also... one thing I forgot to mention while there. If you're looking for good reasonable food... don't miss the boawling alley. Sounds wierd, but it was the best food we had while there. Great service too. (right next to West Marine as well) :)

Mike, I always do breakfast at the bowling alley-Goooood. I like to eat at Fridays Crab house across from the ferry landing for lunch or dinner, I like the outside setting and the Halibut is so good, they will not deep fry them there, even better.

It was pleasure to meet you guys. Too bad that did not stay at Friday Harbor - I probably could get a spot but wanted to see other places also. I overnighted on anchor at Deer Harbor - fireworks were nice there. Hope I'll have a chance to plan ahead next time.

It was good to meet some of the folks at Friday Harbor. We left early Sat. because the Admiral didn't want to fight heavy traffic on Monday and we wanted to get ready for work on Tuesday. One of our employees took off today so we were short handed. I enjoyed meeting Ken, Harry, Tony and Mike and had a nice visit with Doug.

Yeah... I came back around the dock to visit and you'd already pulled chocks :)

Didn't get to to visit much and missed to walk-through on the boat. What was the name of the paint you recommended? I'll be starting on that in a few weeks.

StevensMan; Great seeing you again and glad the boat performed so well. You got an absolute steal on her. Now that you have fresh risers & manifolds you'll get many care-free years from her and you're still probably only in about 60% of her blue book value. That's a nice feeling having instant equity like that. Hope to see more of you and the girls out there.

yeah, great meeting Spud/aka Nelson and Kathy; Loren, Vicki and Danica; Ken and Lorie too and of course seeing the "other" buddies.

Still got #502 in my mind... and I am smiling about it as I type this...

and who could forget that bikini clad girl being photographed by Steve (did Marsha see that one???) I notice I have not seen that one online ...yet... lol ;)

Mike--The paint I used on the bottom is Pratt & Lambert's Palgard industrial epoxy. It is a very durable, high gloss, smooth enamel. It is a 2-part epoxy. I rolled and brushed it on. I applied two coats rather than a primer and finish coat. I purchased from Daly's paint and decorating in Seattle. It is very good finish for trailered boats.

We pulled out early Sunday to pick our crab pots and head over to Cap Sante for haul out. Great trip home, very little traffic on the pass and got home at 1630.
