1993 Crusader 350XL Engines FWC
Should I do the following, assuming all is original?
1. Replace exhaust manifolds
2. Replace oil coolers
3. Replace heat exchangers
4. Anything else
The elbows are a given, and with them comes new exhaust hose (the old risers are discontinued and the new ones are a tad taller). Fuel fill hoses are being replaced as they are cracked, but not leaking. New impellers going in the raw water pump.
The carbs and the alternators are a bit corroded, but are working.
Thanks!

First: I'm not the mechanical guru here, but I have read a lot of posts that would indicate a preference for not changing out stuff unless it is broken or is offering symptoms of failure/decline. Some have manifold failure in a matter of years some much longer, there are so many variables.
I am guessing that you are not a founding member of microsoft or the like and would rather put your cash into gas and quality beverages so clean this stuff up, inspect and monitor and stay on the water till the weather turns to crap.
BTW it helps if you fill in the bio so folks can know where you are, go boating and etc.....(Where is that damn puppy when you need him?)

If this boat is new to you I would think that you would want to perform the basic tune-up type of things.
If the oil has not been changed in a while I would do that first.
In the Spring I replace the plugs, cap and rotor after I have burned off the fogging oil. Check the belts, fluid levels.
In the fall at layup I change the oil and filter, replace the spin-n fuel filter, clean the spark arrestor, check all of the zincs including the pencil zincs in the heat exchanger and have the drive serviced (lubed, impellor inspected/replaced, adjusted).
Other things to do would be to flush the cooling system and fill with fresh antifreeze.

Not new to me, just neglected for a year!
Will do an oil and filter change regardless of the rest. Got a couple of Racor spin ons to replace the Tempos on there now. Shaft seals and bottom paint happening during haulout in a couple weeks. Will do the coolant as I have to drain for the manifold/elbow work.
