I took the boat to Lake Chelan this weekend. The new electric toilet and holding tank work great. I had a couple leaky fittings, but no problem after tightening clamps. The new Garmin 172c (internal antenna) is nice. 15' EPE with 10 satellite reception. After dinner Sat night in Chelan, we ran up to Lake Chelan State Park (10 mi). It was as dark as a sack of _ssholes, absolutely no lights at the state park, but I followed a track from earlier in the day right back to the docks. I have a strong bow spotlight and we docked without any problem. One problem I discovered is that as the holding tank fills (port side) the boat develops a slight list to port. I'm going to relocate a battery to the starboard. The cabin catalytic propane heater kept the admiral warm. Now is a great time to enjoy Lake Chelan. No one is on the lake, the public docks are empty and this year the water is extremely free of logs. No spring runoff.
