Recently, we've had a couple of the LED's on our panel go out. Since this is a BOAT, replacing them is not as simple as unscrewing the burnt-out light and replacing it. Noooooo - of course not.

It looks like one has to access the panel from behind (which in our case is the hanging locker), disconnect a wire or two and then push the dead light out from behind. The burned-out lights aren't a huge issue, but I like to have them working just so we don't inadvertantly leaving something on that shouldn't be...or vice versa.

I think these things are standard and it shouldn't be a huge deal - but this is a BOAT. So I don't want to assume.

If there's anything tricky or risky, we'll have someone smart look at it, but it seems like it should be a simple operation. Am I nuts?
