Not a major project, but a completed one just the same. On our Contessa they have the original am/fm/cassette player over in the galley. Admiral wanted that space back so I relocated our stereo to the area above the lower helm. Not sure what you call the piece it is mounted in as all they do is cover up the joints from windows to fiberglass all around the boat. Anyways, the new location allowed for replacing speaker wires and cleaning up the other electronics hanging there. Will post additional pictures of those later.

The new stereo is a am/fm/cd/mp3 player with a remote. Sounds great and looks good IMHO. Keeps the kids hands off it and you can put 7 hours of music onto one cd!

Next project we are starting this weekend is to make a bimini top for the cockpit. Thanks to SS for his ideas on how to make.

I replaced my bayliner casette type with a cd one and now I am in process of replacing that one with a remote controlled unit which I should have installed the first time! Amazing how many itmes I coulda/shoulda the first time on some stuff...

Nice install BTW...

I searched far and wide to find a name brand cd/mp3 player. The remote could easily be lost as it is wireless, so we stuck a floating key chain on it. :)

If anyones interested in swapping. I have a collection of just over 13,000 MP3 music tracks. They're about 35GB altogether, but would swap 1:1 you're looking at building a boat collection.
