We got tired of the roll up style curtains we had inside the cabin and have been looking for a good alternative... We are still looking at how we want to valence the top but here are a couple of photos. We got the channel material from our Camper back installer and the clips for the channel and sewn into the top of the curtains are from an Airstream curtain system. We got those from here: http://www.curtain-tracks.com/recmar-3044-g-glide-elastic-351.html
I attached the channel using short flat philips head SS screws

We have similar curtain track like that across the v-berth. I've thought of doing that same thing. Nice project Doug (or should I say Lea?)

Looks great Doug, Working with those angled windows is a real challenge. The curtains have a stylish appearance when drawn back. Bonus of the design.

You can make them without the need for a vallence. It is just one extra seam:
sorry for the rough pic1548

Mike: yes, Lea gets the credit for the sewing...
Talley, I like that... will show it to the boss... Only problem I see is the extra stitch may make the curtains too short at the bottom and too bulky at the top for drawing it back to open?
Pat: THANKS...

Liked the valance, was going to do that but the fabric and liner was too thick and with the valance, they would be way to heavy to fold up.

They look great Lea. I'm sure Diane would like those better than what we have also.

You could just do that to the liner first....

Looks good so far Doug! We have the same issues with the top of our curtains. Temporarily, we hung a piece of fabric over the top of the bar which hangs over the front creating a valance and is secured to the back of the bar. Can't wait to see how you finish it.
