Good Morning to all, If anyone would like to see lots of thunderbirds (1955-1957) on display Friday (show day) starting at 9 and running all day, come down to the Red Lion Inn in Olympia. I am showing my latest restoration (1956 peacock blue w/****e top). Should be over 100 cars.

My daughter just sold a house in Edmonds and they had a GEORGEOUS canary yellow one sitting in their garage. It was a 1955. Sure was pretty. I don't think he shows it though, at least not anymore.

Guy must've been 80 and the car hadn't been started in years. :(

Doug; Called the house. Lea said you would be in a meeting. Gimme a call when you get home and we can figure out time, place, etc.

Can you get the info from your daughter so I can ask about the car?

I'm baaaccckkkk....

I'm tired but happy... My three year old restored 56 Peacock Blue tbird took first place in my division which was touring class/hoods up... Had about 100 competitors... and beat them all. great time and lots of great memories... Will post pictures soon..

Ken, He will want to look on line (google) for the "Vintage thunderbird club". That is the national club and there is a huge chapter on your side of the sound. Another big one in Vancouver, BC too.

Mike, I would still like to find out if I could talk to the guy with the "yellow" tbird... I am sure he knows the value of his car... That is not the concern I still am interested in talking to him about it... If your daughter could ask if it would be OK... I'd appreciate it. One of the things I want is the data plate info. Of the 45,000 cars produced in 55-57, only ~7,000 data plate info is registered... SO, I may not be interested in buying... Lea would KILL me... I do want to get some info on the bird... thanks

PS I'll call you tomorrow about when to pick you up on Tuesday for the Neah Bay trip...
