Really cool- The approach footage of the DC-3 was really cool but when they stopped the thing on short final I was bummed. Fortunately, they showed it again as the pilot flew to a choice landing and roll out. Wish I was in Oshkosh to see Glacier Girl p-38 and Mike Melville demonstration flight of White Knight and Spaceship 1 this week. Had the chance to fly there in a lancair but it conflicts with my boat vacation upcoming. They didnt both fit in my wallet! Reno Air races next tho!

Have you guys seen the guy with the biplane with the wheels on the top and bottom of the wing that lands and takes off INVERTED? Or the Waco bipe that has the JET ENGINE on the bottom of the fuselage? He turns it on intermittantly during his airshow performance. Just when you think he's going to crash, it rockets up at an angle you have to see to believe! I saw him at reno 2000. I thought he was dead, then the loudest thing you've heard (its Unducted) cranks on and you'd swear the wings are gonna come off! :color:

I was just down at the kite shop bying some carbon fiber for a toy I'm building. Had never played with flying a rogallo wing... but here's my next project:

I've already got one :)

Turn the motor off... it just glides into the wind... very fun. I'm scaling it up right now. Need something in a 3 ft wingspan or so... :)

The 16 right video clip is beautiful. I wonder if the entire DVD is choreographed as well as the clip. I'm not a pilot, but if I hadn't gone to vet school I'd have gone into pilot training. I would have loved to have been an airline pilot.
