Tony, I don't know about yours, I have to go through the library on the old phone.

I called Verizon customer service and told the gal I was unhappy that I couldnt hear the phone ring...under 20 ft of water !!..She asked if I had a friend in Lake Stevens... I knew I was on borrowed time, SS has lost a few, I know Tally has also. I've snagged mine several times, knocked it on the deck, the dock the shop floor a bazillion times. There is one you can see at low tide near the walkway at Westbay Marina, laying in the mud. Maybe we should invent a little self inflating lifejacket....

BTW..is there a way to download all of a guys numbers onto a PC and then back to a new phone when they jump ship??

Actually... when I dropped mine in Lake Washington a few years back... it sat on the bottom for an hour or so and then I decided I couldn't look at it any more. I dove in and eventually got it out. At least I saved the case and battery.

Two years later, I lost another one. Went in to get the old ones battery to see if it would still charge... and IT CAME ON! Everything worked like new. So now I use it as a backup phone. :)

When I dropped my last one... I was just walking up the dock after a day of fishing with Spud and I fat-handed it and off it went into the Sound. The cover was open and I watched Diane's picture (my background imagen on the phone) drift down in a slow spiral probably 15 feet before I lost sight of it.

I could just picture some dungeness poking at it trying to figure out all the lights. :)

I can still see ole SS jumping in the lake at the pits snagging his phone, he then pops up and says "can you hear me now!" we all got quite a laugh that day. Ted

I think salt water is the true killer of cell phones ...my wife ran hers through a full laundry cycle and the dryer and it worked for another year.
