Yep, I have some projects in the works.<O:p</O:p
I'm going to replace the exhaust system too on the SB motor.<O:p</O:p
There is a pliable hose…exhaust tube, that connects the riser to the muffler....aside from man-handling, swearing, bleeding and bruises…anyone have a better idea to remove that?<O:p</O:p
Last time I removed one it was on my 2452 and it was smaller. It was a pain too.<O:p</O:p

Sawzall or a mechanic... But I'd go for the Sawzall first... Does a great job cutting sections of the stiff rubber out and then just slit the rubber neck with a box cutter and pry it loose from the iron... simple...

I had all mine replaced when I bought the boat. Survey said it was cracking so I wanted it fixed before I brought it home from Everett. Looked like a tough job but the mechanic only swore a couple times..... Hehe
