I'm trying to talk the Admiral into another trip to the wetside in Sept. Marine Area 7-N opens Aug. 17 and closes Sept. 30. We've never crabbed up north and I'm wondering how is crabbing in the Bellingham, Point Roberts area? In the past, we've had mixed success in 7-E around Guemes and Huckleberry Islands. We've never been to Bellingham and thought it maight be fun to visit a new port.

The French government announced yesterday that it has raised its terror
alert level from Run to Hide.

The only two higher levels in France are Surrender and Collaborate.

The rise was precipitated by a recent fire which destroyed France's white
flag factory, effectively paralyzing their military.

I know the crabbing around Blaine and Birch Bay is good but if you moor in Bellingham you're a long way from those areas. Don't know how it is east of Lummi Island and around Lummi Bay, but between there and Birch Bay I don't think it's very good. I've stayed at the Blaine marina. Nice , and a good ramp.
