While the boat is on the trailer I was checking the zincs and noticed that the exhaust bellows is split wide right in the middle, on the bottom side.
The question (s): If I leave this till the winter when I will have the leg serviced am I asking for trouble? Is this replaceable without removal of the leg?
(This is on a Bravo 2 Leg)

Should be ok, OMC actually has holes in theirs to lessen backpressure. It's a chore on Merc to change, drive probably needs to come off. Didn't you have that done last year?

Gene: Thanks for the response...actually I skipped a year...had the leg off the year I got it and left it on over the last winter. (drained fluids and replaced) I plan to have the leg off for service so will take care of it then.
Was that your cris at swantown? (the one with the for sale sign facing the guest docks)
I may be making one more run, late fall, to S. Sound...are you still out of the bigger boats in your yard business? I need the manifolds R and R and possibly the bilge pump and starter if they can be gotten to with leg and manifolds off rather than pulling the engine.....
come to think of it that is probably the type of job that would cause you to say no....
