Stopped in Port Orchard for lunch today. Decided to check out our favorite "antique" store...always looking for nautical junk. We found a newly displayed Danforth anchor..great yard ornament...all 300 lbs ! What a monster, stands nearly 5 ft high, all I can do to pick up the main stock. Now we need a big old prop if anyone sees one laying around.

Gene, why stop with an anchor and prop? There's gotta be some old gillnetter out there that would look great on the opposite side of the driveway entrance from an anchor and prop. :D

OK I will add to this yard art, maybe get one of those dilapidated old wooden row boats and half bury it in your front yard. Grow some tulips out of it next spring?? couple glass balls laying around it. yeah, instead of gazer balls, you have fishnet balls. :)

We've thought about the rowboat planter . Just chopped up a 21 ft Sabrecraft that's been in the backyard for a playhouse. I'm trying to talk the admiral into a 32 Tolly to part out....
