I plan to take photos of my progress in changing out all six sets of trailer bearings and pass on what I have learned (IE. shortcuts) to anyone that wants to tackle the same job. First off, my trailer currently uses the red grease available at West Marine. It use to use the blueish grease which I now wish I had kept. I did a complete cleaning of the old blueish to red thinking it may be a better product after all, it was more expensive and I had many many tubes of it laying around... ...
After getting all the canvas work finished, I've been giving thought to locating a used commercial sewing machine to do some other cool stuff around the boat like privacy curtains, equipment covers, shrouds, fender covers and the likes.
